Does data intrigue you? Are you driven to track, analyze and format business data interpreting and suggesting solutions to support business needs? Do your talents include evaluating behavioral, trend and survey analysis effectively communicating this information to sales, marketing and finance teams? Are you interested in helping a successful and growing business achieve more? If so, your skill set may fit our need for a Business Marketing Reporting Analyst.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Work across disciplines to gather specifications for data and report requirements. Key is formatting data and analysis clearly to facilitate interpretation by multiple users.
- Develop and maintain reports to track marketing and business performance across departments
- Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into technical design documents and prepare strategic data interpretation
- Track and evaluate results and effectiveness of marketing programs, including short and long term payback analysis of individual campaigns.
- Help identify target demographics, behavior and activity patterns of different members groups to facilitate marketing/sales campaign development and evaluate effectiveness of programs.
- Assist with the design, analysis and interpretation of annual and spot surveys and polls.
- Monitor internal databases for consistency of information and accuracy. Assist with design of data warehouse to expedite reporting and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications:
• Education in a Business related major with solid academic performance
• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in a Reporting Analyst role
Desired Skills:
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate initiative and possess an investigative nature to ask relevant questions and translate data into actionable information
• Dedication to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of SQL preferably with DB2 databases
• Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft Access
• Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Able to meet or exceed project deadlines
• Works as an independent contributor and team player
• Familiarity with Web/campaigns analysis, including behavioral analysis
